The delegation then visited the Kinross booth and welcomed the Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, to discuss Kinross’ ongoing operations, sustainability initiatives and commitment to ESG.

“The Mauritanides conference is an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with government officials and world-wide industry professionals,” said Brahim. “The conference also provides a space for Kinross to showcase our operations and the positive impacts we are making in the country as they relate to sustainability, jobs and economic opportunities, and responsible mining.”
